DETAILS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Transportation: Hunters must provide their own transportation, New Mexico license and personal gear. Transportation to and from Roswell & Fort Sumner can be arranged.

Hunting Territory: Ranch consists of 90,000 hunting acres (36,000 acres owned by owners and remaining acres leased from neighboring ranches). Territory is typical antelope country, wide open & flat. Be prepared for lots of glassing & shooting at long range. You will have an opportunity to shoot at an antelope or a deer & other wildlife. Every two hunters will have ranch employees, who were raised on this ranch, to help assist them through the hunt. Guides will help in the skinning & caping of the wildlife. Transporting & processing of the meat will be responsibility of hunter. Hunters are transported to hunting areas via 4-wheel drive vehicles or pickups. Stalking is done on foot in flat, but rocky terrain, (good boots are helpful).

Weather: Deer hunting weather is generally typical fall conditions. Morning temperatures can be near or below freezing. Antelope hunting can be hot & dry, it is advisable to bring coolers to take meat home.

Clothing: You will need clothing that is suited for wind, rain, snow, and the hot sun.
